  2007 Plantagenet Shiraz 05PLSHZ7-DLS

  Fruit is sourced mostly from our promising Rocky Horror vineyard (50%), planted in the mid 90's and the balance sourced from our 37 year old Wyjup (22%) and 39 year old Bouverie vineyards (18%) and the 30 year old Charleston vineyard (10%), all growing on gravel loams around the Mt Barker area in the Great Southern region of Western Australia.

  2007 Plantagenet Cabernet Sauvignon 07PLCAS7-DLS

  Fruit sourced almost entirely from our 37 year old Wyjup and 39 year old Bouverie vineyards, (78%) growing on ancient gravel loams in the Mt Barker area in the Great Southern region of Western Australia. Our more recently planted Rocky Horror vineyard, planted on even more gravelly soils contributed 16% towards the Cabernet blend.

  2007 Plantagenet Chardonnay 07PLCHA7-DLS

  Fruit is sourced from our lowest yielding Rocky Horror and Wyjup vineyards that are predominantly planted with the gig gin clone of Chardonnay. This clone produces a high level of 'hen and chicken' bunches that provides a more intense flavour spectrum and higher natural acidity. A small amount was also sourced from Dunhelm vineyard in Denmark.

  Fruit sourced from our 38 year old Wyjup vineyard growing 30 km south of Mt Barker in the Great Southern region of Western Australia. The vines had their cordons cut one month before harvest allowing the fruit to shrivel and concentrate sugars and flavours.
